Anvil Agreement

Any discrepancies that may arise in scientific or programmatic fields between the laureates and the NIH may be led to the resolution of disputes. A dispute settlement body, composed of three members, including a representative of AnVIL EAC, a designated NIH and a third chargé de mission responsible for expertise in the relevant field chosen by the other two; If NIH and AnVIL EAC do not reach an agreement on the third member, the third member may be chosen by the winner. This special dispute resolution procedure does not affect the right of the addressee to appeal against an injurious act that is otherwise countervailable under PHS 42 CFR Part 50, Sub part D and DHHS 45 CFR Part 16. The Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act of 2006 (Transparency Act) provides an obligation for the granting of federal grants, the reporting of information on first division subawards and executive compensation in connection with federal aid bonuses issued in the GJ 2011 or later.
